Hamilton Wins Monaco Grand Prix

After facing a very difficult race and overcoming all the obstacles in the race, Lewis Hamilton accomplished another victory at the Monaco Grand Prix despite the slippery conditions and an early accident. This victory gave him the advantage in the Formula One standings.

The McLaren driver, who started third on the grid, finished 3 seconds ahead of BMW Sauber’s Robert Kubica, while pole sitter Felipe Massa of Ferrari was third at Formula One’s most famous race.

“This is going to be the highlight of my career,” Hamilton said after giving McLaren its 15th win in 26 races in the principality. “I stayed optimistic and brought it home. It was the most fun I’ve had in a race, ever.”

During the first laps of the race the young Britton driver smashed the wall but then took advantage of the mistake Massa made while racing. Massa, starting from the pole, ran off the track 16 laps but lost the lead to Hamilton who was able to make up for the time he previously lost.

The Britton now possesses 38 points in the overall standings, three points more than the defending champion Kimi Raikkonen whose luck was not on his side as he ended in the ninth position. The Finn’s day started pretty bad with a drive-through penalty and ended with an accident involving the Force India driver Adrian Sutil, but Raikkonen now moves to the second position. Massa is third with 34 points and Kubica next with 32.

Rain showers were intermittent as the drivers took the streets circuit. Hamilton started sandwiched between the Ferraris after moving ahead of Raikkonen on a clean start over the 20 vehicles that were competing that morning. Most drivers were nearly 20 seconds slower than Saturday’s qualifying

Additionally, for the second day on a row David Coulthard lost control of his Red Bull machine and crashed out before Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Bourdais. Six drivers retired as the 78-lap race was transformed into a clock countdown with Hamilton heading the lead to the end.

Ferrari’s driver Massa was left behind as Kubica took over passed him but things did not look very promising. “I lost the radio for like 20 laps. I couldn’t talk to the team, I just looked at the board,” Massa said. “It wasn’t easy to know what was going on in the race.”

This was the second time Hamilton raced in wet and slippery conditions; last year he won the Japanese Grand Prix which was a very complex race due to the weather conditions. But this time in Monaco Hamilton was 17 seconds ahead at the halfway point and with the track drying out, he set another fast lap, 3 seconds better than Massa to push out his lead. The McLaren driver was clear with only the weather to worry about after a quick pit after 54 laps ; a perfect ending for a troubled story as the standings’ board gets really interesting.

Making Money with Sport Betting Online

Sport betting online. You have heard so much about it and you want to try it, but is it right for you? Can you really make money betting on sports? Of course, you can betting online. A quick Google search shows numerous online sports betting sites and help guides. Everyone seems to be offering advice or promoting a site. So where do you start?

Online sport betting systems are based on mathematical and statistical formulas. The online betting sites analyze the players and the teams, and place odds on a team for winning and losing, and by how much they will win or lose. A sports betting guide will take these odds and tell you how to bet, ensuring the highest win loss ratio. Generally, online betting has higher payouts than offline betting.

Some people choose to go to sports handicappers. These people are in the business of betting. They pay the professional to give them advice on placing a bet. The professional is available to explain all bets and answer all questions. However, sports handicappers do not have as high of a win loss ratio as sports betting systems.

Finally, there is the “hot tip” and advice from a friend. These people claim they know everything or have some inside advice about a team. This is normally not a good way to place bets. It is better to use a sports betting system. This will prevent hurt feelings and decrease your risk of losing friends over a sports bet.

Sports betting systems study the game and players. It is their business to give sound betting advice. If you truly want to make money betting on sports, then find one which has plenty of experience. Once you find a good system, take the time and learn the system before placing any bets. After you have learned it, start placing bets and have fun doing it.

Choosing The Best Mountain Biking And Cycling Clothing

Mountain biking is great exercise and a superb way to explore the outdoors, the city and your nearby area.  You don’t need to have the highest spec mountain bike to go riding and have fun, although it does help if you wear the right bike wear and active clothing.  Bike wear and cycling clothing must be comfortable and breathable when you’re zooming across the countryside.  A good place to start is with active clothing that has been specifically designed with cycling and biking technicalities at the forefront.

Cycling jackets and fleeces

Cycling jackets vary enormously from lightweight soft-shell jackets through to the heavier 3 in 1 jackets.  When you’re planning to purchase lightweight soft-shell jackets for cycling or mountain biking then you should think about a jacket that is waterproof – both with or without taped seams, windproof, and with protective high visibility reflectors designed on the jacket. It is important to purchase a cycling jacket that has been designed to be large enough to withstand the rigorous movements of the cyclist. A windproof and waterproof jacket with a long back is most advantageous to the rider as it prevents the splash of mud, dirt and rain soaking through to your clothes.

Cycling late, whether it be thrill seeking adventures in the hills or simply cycling home from work in the dark it is advisable to have some kind of reflective material on your jacket Many bike jackets, trousers, shorts and rucksacks have reflective piping outlining the item which is beneficial for others to see you when riding on the roads and at night.

Cycling shorts

Selecting the most suitable cycling shorts and trousers is quite simple. Again it would be a wise decision to select some shorts with reflective panels and comfort sewn in. A number of shorts have padding in the areas that require it most, making lengthy mountain biking and cycling sessions much better in terms of comfort.  When buying shorts for cycling and mountain biking you can choose between loose fit and tight fit – it is purely a matter of preference.  Many shorts are made from an elastane and lycra mix of material making them ideal for flexible use and active wear when on mountain bikes.

Regardless of your decision on what you decide to buy it’s worth taking a look at a wide range of clothing and making sure that you’re comfy and flexible in your clothing!
